MIDWEST DUELING PIANOS / PERFORMANCE ARCHIVE

BEFORE THE FIRST NOTE

Before you book.

What is a dueling piano show?

Two performers combine live piano, singing, comedy, and audience requests. Your guests help shape the music and the interaction, making each show different.

Do you come to our venue?

Yes. This site is for hiring Midwest Dueling Pianos for your event. Share your Kansas City area venue or city so the team can review the location and setup.

How much does it cost?

Pricing depends on the date, location, performance scope, and production needs. Send an inquiry for a tailored proposal, or read the pricing guide to see what to compare.

Does sending a request reserve our date?

No. The team will check availability and discuss your event. A reservation is confirmed only after the booking requirements in your agreement are completed.

What events do you play?

Explore our pages for weddings, corporate events, holiday parties, fundraisers, private parties, college programming, and venue events. If your occasion is different, describe it in the inquiry.

How long is a show?

The performance window and breaks are planned for your event and confirmed in the quote. Share your schedule and desired coverage rather than assuming a standard package length.

Can the show be clean or suitable for our audience?

Discuss your audience and expectations for language, humor, and participation before booking. Tell the team about any workplace, campus, or family-event boundaries.

Can we request songs?

Audience requests are part of the format. Share essential songs and do-not-play requests in advance; a particular song is not guaranteed until the team confirms how it will be handled.

Will guests be brought on stage?

Tell the team what level of participation you want and whether anyone should avoid the spotlight. Agree on your preferences before the event.

What equipment and space do you need?

Share your venue and room layout. The team will confirm the equipment included, footprint, power, access, and setup requirements for the proposed show.

Can you perform outdoors?

Describe the surface, power, weather protection, and backup plan. Outdoor suitability needs to be reviewed before confirming the performance.

Do you cover both Missouri and Kansas?

We welcome inquiries across the Kansas City metro on both sides of the state line. Availability and travel are confirmed for the specific venue and date.

Can we see a public show before booking?

Ask the booking team about any suitable upcoming public performances or current video examples. This site does not publish unverified event dates.

Can you include emcee duties or music outside the live show?

Explain what you need, including announcements, special dances, and music between sets. The team will confirm the available services and scope in the proposal.

How are payment and cancellation handled?

Your proposal and agreement set the applicable payment, cancellation, and rescheduling terms. Review them with the booking team before reserving the show.
